This piece may look like a hybrid between visual arts, electronics, and sound but its genesis is purely musical. The first prototype was the answer to a situation where a concert had to happen without a concert hall and without performers. To solve this problem, I designed a device that would only make sound in the proximity of a person. My concept was that the circuit would be complete—and the concert would unfold—through the presence of an audience member.
